Caitlin Clark achieves a milestone not seen since Michael Jordan

CHICAGO, May 21, 2024 – Wilson Sporting Goods Co. proudly announces a multiyear partnership with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, enhancing their distinguished athlete roster. This collaboration with Caitlin Clark will introduce signature basketball collections commemorating Clark’s achievements and involve her in product innovation across the WNBA, NBA, and the broader basketball community, amplifying her influence in the sport.

Amanda Lamb, Head of Global Brand at Wilson, expressed her excitement, stating, “Wilson is made to celebrate the most iconic moments in sport, and we have always aligned ourselves with trailblazers who break boundaries and write their own story. Caitlin Clark is not just a record-setting athlete, but a cultural icon who has had a profound impact on the game. We couldn’t be prouder to join forces with her to continue innovating basketball both on and off the court.”

As part of her role, Clark will test, advise, and provide feedback on various Wilson basketball products, aiming to enhance the game from youth levels to professional play. Throughout 2024, Wilson will release collections celebrating Clark’s legacy and collaborate with her to creatively direct her first-ever signature basketball line, debuting later this year.

Reflecting on the partnership, Caitlin Clark, NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer and WNBA rookie, shared, “Wilson has been with me across some of the most pivotal moments in my career so far, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue driving basketball forward alongside them. It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection, and to affect what that means for future generations of athletes.”

The initial collection drop, available today, features Wilson’s classic white and gold WNBA basketball with personalized laser engravings commemorating iconic Clark moments. Consumers can choose from three designs to personalize their basketball. This release is exclusive to Wilson.com.

Aligned with Wilson’s mission to create a better world through sport, this partnership will also focus on increasing youth access to play across the country. The collection’s products will be accessible at various price points through Wilson’s direct-to-consumer channels and key retailers. Additionally, Wilson will support the Caitlin Clark Foundation, aiding its mission to uplift and improve the lives of youth and their communities through education, nutrition, and sport—three pillars essential to Clark’s success.
